Praedo recommends which of your own tools fit a given testing task. It is a reference aid for licensed and authorized security professionals. It does not perform attacks, bypass controls, or defeat any device itself.
Your obligations
- You will only test systems, networks, premises, and devices you own or have explicit written authorization to assess.
- You will stay within the agreed scope, rules of engagement, and time window of each authorization.
- You will comply with all applicable laws, including the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, state lock-picking and burglary-tool statutes, and wiretap/RF regulations (FCC Part 15, etc.).
- Lawful possession and use of lock picks and RF gear varies by jurisdiction. You are responsible for knowing and following your local law.
